Unable to see pitest under Plugins directory of maven project

Hello community,

I am new to pitest and have integrated pitest in my maven project in VS Code. Maven is already installed on my system successfully. But for some reason, I am unable to integrate pitest to my project. Pitest is NOT visible under plugins folder of my maven project. See the screenshot below: 

I have added the script in pom.xml as well (see right hand side of screenshot). 

Can anyone help me out with this?

I don’t know how the maven integration in VS code works but maybe the problem is that you are defining PIT in the  pluginManagement section and not in the plugin section of your pom.

Hey Ullrich,

Thanks for your reply. I did try to change the location of plugin in my pom.xml file. Ultimately, the issue was not related to pom file. Anyway, thanks for letting me know. I appreciate it.
