Hey Team,

Below please find the notes from last night's call. We have a final call to tie up any loose ends this coming Wednesday, October 2 at 8pm Eastern. Dial-in info is the same: 877.402.9753, access code 7692886.

Finalize Agenda and Fill in Gaps

Schedule of workshops--we'll just assign them to times, no one felt there was any reason to assign certain ones to certain times

Text for Program with workshop descriptions and speaker bios--Margot will take care of this.

Turnout/Outreach

Updates on turnout:

20 registered online
ATU--12 confirmed
UE--10 confirmed, total will likely be 15
UFCW--3 confirmed

Patrick or Josh or John can you give an update on USW turnout?

If locals want to register members en masse they should call Adrian, the Business Manager at Labor Notes at 313.842.6262.

Final outreach blast:

Labor Notes will send an email to everyone who registered online.  FBP will send a reminder about the Troublemakers School with its membership meeting reminder email. Folks should share the event again on Facebook, etc.

Logistics

Set-up and Materials:

AV needs--Mel will check the Health and Human Services building for what they have. We need a projector and screen in the main room. Mark Brenner will need a projector and screen for his workshop. Mel will bring some extension cords.

The labor notes table with their merch, etc., will be in the back of the main room.

Purchasing materials--Mel is getting 100 folders, tags, stickers, nametags. Pens are supposed to coming from USW--is that still happening?

Paper registration forms--Samantha sent a template to John Lepley. John, have you created the form?

Registration:

Mel and Marc will staff the registration table. Everybody please show up at 9:30am to set-up.

After-party:

Mike will create a flyer with a map and directions to the ATU Hall that will be stuffed in everyone's folder.
