Hello,

 

Partner4Work, in collaboration with our regional partners in the Southwest Planning Region, is pleased to present our WIOA Multi-Year Regional and Local Plans (PY2017 – PY2019), which have been posted for a 30-day public comment period from July 25 to August 24, 2017. These plans outline strategies for coordinated and collaborative service delivery among local boards and WIOA partners, both locally and regionally, within the public workforce development system. Further, these plans are intended to support the vision, strategic, and operational goals of the Governor as outlined in the PA WIOA Combined State Plan. The Multi-Year Regional and Local Plans (PY2017 – PY2019) expand upon the 1-Year Transitional Regional and Local Plans approved by the PA Department of Labor & Industry for PY2016.

 

During this public comment period, Partner4Work invites you to join us on August 16, 2017 from 10:00AM to 11:30AM for a community forum to be facilitated by our regional/local planning consultant, Community Workforce Advancements, LLC. This forum will offer an overview of the Southwest Regional Plan and Partner4Work’s Local Plan (City of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County). The forum will also provide a time for open discussion among partners and stakeholders, as well as a chance for attendees to provide specific feedback on the plans and their implementation.
