Finishing Trades Institute of Western Pennsylvania District Council #57 Joint Apprenticeship Program

The F.T.I of Western Pennsylvania District Council #57 Joint Apprenticeship and Training Program is accepting application for apprenticeship in the Painters/Glaziers/Drywall finishers for program year 2017.

Applications are accepted year-round, however in person application will be accepting applications at the District Council #57 office: 101 Ewing Road, Carnegie, Pa 15106 on the following dates;

· September 19, 2017 from 8:30am – 2:30pm

· September 21, 2017 from 8:30am – 2:30pm

Minimum Requirements

1. Applicants must be 18 years of age.

2. Prior to final acceptance, a doctor’s certification of examination may be required.

3. Certified drug test.

4. Must be a citizen of US (or Legal alien).

5. High School Diploma or GED (Submission with Application).

6. Must have a valid driver’s license for the state residency and have dependable transportation.

· August 17, 2017 – Guild Union Apprentice Program will conduct an information session on what it takes to pursue a career in the construction industry.

· August 23, 2017 – Allegheny General Hospital will be conducting on-site interviews for individuals who are interesting in pursuing a career in the medical industry.
