I haven't ridden in the Pedal Pittsburgh event for a couple years, but
wanted to try to make it down this year.

I guess for most of "you" this pittsburgh area ride is your
"backyard", so maybe not a real draw for you. I live in Hermitage
16148, so its more exciting for me I guess.

I had put some posts in some other forums looking for "a group of
bents to ride with"....
http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/eve/1085006887.html

....was aiming for the GROUP registration of 10 or more riders to
receive the entry fee discount.

Anybody else planning or have an interest on the event?

Thanks, David

PS: will post something in the Introductions too.

I'm waffling...if I do attend, will probably be riding with the Wheelmen.

Welcome to the group, by the way!

You ought to be able to find some local recumbent mates, what with
your having a Recumbent dealership, something we don't have in
Pittsburgh. Have you asked RBR for help?

By the way, how would you bike between Pittsburgh and State
College? The PennDot suggested bike routes show taking the rail trail
from McKeesport to Meyersdale, a minor road to Somerset, a series of
back roads to Bedford, and then Route 26 to approach State College
from the east.
