Hi, all!

First, congratulations to Tom and Bill on completion of the Splendid Isolation 215K yesterday...looks like it was a lovely day for a ride.

Secondly, I'm planning to cancel the last two rides (a 200K and 100K) for the year in November. If anyone was planning on attending one of the rides, I'll keep it on the calendar, but please let me know by this weekend at the latest if so. That said, I would like to propose something pleasant and informal out of North Park, ending at OTB for a social hour...perhaps the weekend of November 8th or 15th?

Thirdly, our calendar for next year has been approved...placeholders for all events are in, and can be seen at our Events page.

Finally, I wanted to announce that I'll be looking for someone to take up the mantle of Pittsburgh-regional RBA sometime in 2027. While I'm not averse to continuing to help out with the technical stuff, I've got upcoming family obligations on which I need to focus my energies. So, the search for a new RBA begins...

Congrats to Tom and Bill, Looks like it may have been a beautiful day, I hope it was.

I am interested in riding a 200k on November 1st and an end of season social event sounds good. I think I could keep either of those dates free, maybe the 15th would be better.

Thanks Dan!

Thanks Dan and Steve.  It was an awesome day (really, the weather couldn't have been better).    The route was equally awesome.  Foiage was at peak as well.  I hadn't ridden it in about a decade, but I was surprised how familiar most of it felt.  This route is tailor made for anyone who likes gravel riding and randonneuring.  Hopefully we can get a few more folks to come out for it next time, if we were to use it in the future.  Everyone else really missed out.  Here were some pics I took:  https://photos.app.goo.gl/SyBqBs53bcToVASq7
