June rides and happenings

[RBA Pittsburgh]

First off...let's wish a hearty bonne route to RBA-in-waiting Steve Kunsak, who is currently riding the Trans Am nonstop. Steve started riding today, and his progress can be tracked via the official website here: https://rideyrbike.com/rider-history/TABNS2026/StevenKunsak

For those of us with slightly lower sights for June:

• On Saturday June 20th, we've got a new 166K route to try out, the 9 Bridges Century. I'll not repeat the various notes and cautions listed on the event page...suffice it to say that this has a lot of adventure front-loaded into the first half of the route. Bring fatter tires, a change of socks, a distaste for boringly smooth pavement,  enough food and water to go 50 miles before resupply, and a camera to take pictures of lots of historical bridges.
• On Saturday June 27th, good old Meanville Greenville will host our first ACP brevet of the year.

I just checked in Steve on the rider tracking map.  It looks like he is in Grand Teton National Park at the moment and moving.
