Hi, all!
I'm happy to report that we've got a less-strenuous populaire on offer this Saturday: the new
Lazing Through Layton. This 100K keeps all of the climbing in the middle third of the route: a start in McKeesport and our usual meander along Bunola River Rd on the Mon River will let us warm up until we head up the ridge to cross 51 and pass through Perryopolis. From there, we'll cross over the Yough and enjoy one or two more significant climbs, before dropping back down to the river and returning along the GAP.
Also, coming up two weeks later on June 7th, we've got the
newly approved AMCUP 104K being offered concurrently with the
AMCUP 200K. Bring your climbing legs, or at least your patience...
The Web site still needs to be updated with details, but the tickets should be available for all three events.
