Spring Fling 2018 at Rivers Casino

Join GPSG for this year's Spring Fling on April 20th at Rivers Casino with beautiful views of the river!!

$15 for 4 drinks, unlimited apps, dancing, photo booth, raffles and the chance to have fun on the last day of classes with your fellow grad students! Plus, each guest gets a complimentary $10 to play at the casino.

Tailgate and Pirates Baseball game 

Come cheer on the Pirates versus the Cincinnati Reds on April 7! Game begins at 7:05PM @ PNC Park on the North Shore. 

Join the GPSG tailgate party before the game! The tailgate will start at 5:00PM and will include dinner, drinks, and lawn games. Tickets to the event are $10 per person and provide entry to both the tailgate and the game. 

GPSG Free Professional Headshots

In efforts to assist graduate and professional students to improve their professional profile, GPSG is offering free headshots to graduate and professional students. 

The last two sessions of this event will take place on April 4 from 2 -3 PM and on April 20 from 3-4 PM at WPU 301. The sessions will be on a first come first serve basis.

TEDxUniversityOfPittsburgh's Annual Event

The TEDxUniversityOfPittsburgh held the 4th annual TEDx event at the William Pitt Union on Saturday, March 31st from 11 am to 4 pm. 

Local speakers shared their perspective on a wide array of topics from design to medicine - curated for this year's theme of "Rethink".

April 4th - Survivor Slam: Assault Survivor Story Exhibition from 5–10:30 p.m. at WPU Lower Lounge.

April 6th - Sexual Misconduct Resource Fair from 11 –1:30 p.m. at WPU Patio

April 9th - Intersectionality of Sexual Violence: How the issue impacts marginalized populations from 8–9:30 p.m. at WPU Dining Room A

April 12th - Centering the Narratives of Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming  Survivors of Sexual Assault from 9 p.m. at WPU 630

April 18th - Candlelight Vigil in support of Survivors from 8 - 10p.m. at WPU Patio

Spring DEA Drug Take Back Day

This event is organized by the School of Pharmacy’s GenerationRx initiative, whose main goal is to prevent the misuse and abuse of prescription medications and to advocate for the elimination of unused, expired, and unwanted medications.

The University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy will be holding their annual Drug Take Back Day on Thursday, April 19, 2018, from 9 AM – 3 PM at the University Pharmacy in Nordenberg Hall.
