Hey Dudes and Dudettes,

 

On Saturday February 13th, WMS will be having it's first ever Winter Survival and Search and Rescue Session!  We'll be going over some skills that'll help you in the bitterest of colds, including fire-building, shelter-building, cold-water immersion, and navigation.  We'll also be going over some wilderness medicine and talk about things like hypothermia, frostbite, carriers, and rescue techniques.

 

We'll meet in the Pavillion in the valley of Frick Park.  We'll also be barbecueing some food to keep our bellies warm.    Let me know if you're interested!  Email to doan....@medstudent.pitt.edu
