Winter Camping- RSVP to pick date

Hi all,
Snow camping is a go for sometime in February- Wootwoot. In discussing weekends, two were a possibility and we (Dan and I) picked one, but after talking to some folks, it seems polling the group of which of the two works for people may get a better attendance.
So: RSVP if you have an opinion of which of these weekends you'd like to go:

Feb. 13-14th (V-day conflict)
Feb. 27-28th (Black Bag Ball conflict)

The trip will likely include:
Leaving early (~8am) on Saturday morning
Hiking on the Laurel highlands trail, so we can use the shelters for the overnight
Return late afternoon, early evening on Sunday
A group rental of snowshoes (we'll each have to pay for our own - we received no SEC funds for trips)

A preliminary gear list- Soliciting friends or email me if you don't have it/them. There are a few of us with gear stock piles, so 'no gear' should not be a reason for not going. We aim to accommodate.

Hiking Backpack (with hip belt and size to fit all your gear)
Snow/Waterproof pants and jacket
Mummy Sleeping bag
Sleeping pad
Waterproof boots
Long underwear (non-cotton)
Wool/warm,non-cotton socks (2 pair)
Gloves, preferably waterproof
Stocking hat

Once we have a RSVP list for the selected date, more will come about food, ride, and cost sharing.

Missing black bag ball would be a much bigger conflict than missing Valentine's Day since we are Pitt Med students. And if you have a Valentine, you can bring them camping, because camping is very romantic.

Is anyone interested in doing a warm-up snowshoeing daytime expedition before camping? I personally don't like sleeping out in the cold if I can at all help it, but I would love to go out during the day.
I was thinking that February 7 might be a good day, assuming there's snow around somewhere.
Thoughts???
