Tour Du District

Held on Saturday, October 1, 2011, the annual Tour du District cycling event will offer cyclists three routes: 5 mile, 25 mile, and a hilly 30 mile route.  The 30 mile hill route will offer cyclists an opportunity to experience several of the steepest climbs outside of the City of Pittsburgh.  During the 2010 Tour Du District, only three riders out the of the 100+ riders were able to complete the last three climbs. The 30 mile hill route will offer cyclists a great opportunity to prepare for the Dirty Dozen and cyclocross season.  The 25 mile district tour, will ride past all of the schools in the Woodland Hills School District. After the 2010 event, a raffle with many cycling items and gift certificates was held for all participants.
