It’s happening!

 

11am from the Union.

Depending on how cold I feel the ride will last from 2.5 to 4 hours. If we end up doing 4 there will be a turn off point for those that would prefer to only do the 2.5 hour loop. I will have embrocation, (chamois cream and possibly warming balm), for those brave enough to join me!

 

Some suggestions:

            Good wool socks.

            Some long sleeve base layer eg. thermals.

            A knit cap or cycling hat, ears should be covered.

            Good gloves.

            A jacket, can be thin but you will need at least two good layers on.

            If you need chemical hand/toe warmers www.embrocations.com will provide as part of our sponsorship along with chamois cream and possibly a warming balm.

I learned this through two sweet dudes.

Baby powder your feet to avoid sweating.
Cover said baby powdered feet with suran wrap to keep em warm.

ill try and bet there and go as long as i can till my freehub freezes up- i probably wont be down for 4 hours. ive done 2 hours each of the last 3 days and it suxxx.
 
what direction is it going?
 
oh, and surcigal gloves with baby powder under gloves designed for even like 50 degrezzz will keep your hands toasty.
