Ihave a challenge I hope someone can help me with. I have received a virtual Visa payment from an online website, which I would like to use to top-up my Paypal account to spend on Ebay. I have registered and confirmed (via the PIN) the card with PP, but when I click on the 'Add Money' link on the PP summary page, the only options offered are using my bank account. I can't see any other options for adding funds (e.g. via 'wallet').
Thanks for that advice Kernowlass - the card has been accepted by Paypal, so at least it's genuine. I would quite like to use the whole amount of cash on the card - so another question arises: can I use two payment methods on a single transaction? I.e. if I purchase goods more than the amount I have on this virtual visa card, can I use the full value of the card and empty it, and pay the balance from the usual Paypal bank account transfer method?
You can also pay with your virtual Visa card in-store using your phone. For in-person purchases, your virtual card needs to be compatible with e-wallets such as Google Pay and Apple Pay. Make sure to check with the merchant beforehand as not all stores accept this payment method.

i was wondering if somebody could help me. I have money in my paypal account and i would like to use it. But not through sending it to my bank account or buying something with paypal. Instead i have signed up for a virtual visa credit card under my name and i also have a physical card with that.
"So i was wondering if i have money on my paypal account( 100 usd) and i link a virtual credit card to my paypal account, can i buy thing online with my virtual credit card and the money would be taken from my paypal account instantly?"
i dont think the card is from any bank, its like netspend or similar. But is visa and i have the physical card and also an account with a little bit money in it maybe 3 usd. What i want to do is to log in to my paypal and link the virtual credit card to my paypal account and what i want to do then is when i purchase something with the crredit card i want the money to be taken from the paypal account.
Anyway I got a visa gift card for my birthday and am thinking of ordering the new iphone. But this means I will have to add several more hundred euro onto the card. So I was wondering will the online store accept a virtual visa or will I just be wasting my money
Just received an email from the virtual visa company confirming that virtual visas do not work on the apple store. I am extremely disappointed that the person in the call center tried to tell me otherwise. If I was to believe him I would have ended up in a fairly difficult position. Not being able to buy the new iphone because all my money would have been stuck on a virtual visa. I think the staff in the call centres should be made aware of this.
However there is nothing specified about virtual visas here. I found one virtual visa company (not the one I am looking at using) that states "Please notice Apple does not support Virtual VISA at iTunes."
I tried ringing their sales line however the person on the other end of the phone did not sound like he had the slightest clue. He just said if the card works on any other online store that it will work with apple which is contrary to what the above virtual visa company say.

Virtual business cards are not made from plastic. They are simply numbers that are generated to make secure purchases. Since they are not plastic, they can only be used by businesses to make purchases online or over the phone.
Brick-and-mortar stores are not equipped to accept virtual business cards. However, the virtual business cards can be used to make remote purchases from any merchant or supplier that accepts Visa cards.

A virtual business card is much more secure than using checks and cash and can also help to streamline your payments process. When you have a petty cash fund at your business, employees may be tempted to take small amounts with the idea that they will pay it back.
Businesses that use checks are also targeted for fraud. Some bookkeepers may issue duplicate checks and make fraudulent entries in your ledger. The transaction costs involved with purchases are also expensive and can be eliminated when you use virtual cards instead of requisition forms, purchase orders, and checks.
A virtual card is much more secure than a business credit card. Virtual card Visa cards can be restricted to the amounts that can be spent and where they can be used. If the virtual cards are debit cards, the purchases also do not incur interest.

When you are shopping for a virtual card, there are some features that can offer you more benefits. Look for cards that come with the ability to control when and where the cards can be used. The cards should also let you set the spending limits that you choose.
The best virtual cards should be debit cards so that the purchases will be subtracted from your account, giving the spending greater transparency. You should not be charged high rates of interest or high annual fees.
In order to find a virtual Visa card, you can research different business card issuers online. Virtual cards may be offered by a variety of banks and card companies, but not all of the cards will have the best features.
