THE KATRINA'S KIDS PROJECT
Transport Group's Outreach Program is sponsoring Katrina's Kids, a
toy drive and Holiday party for the children devastated by Hurricane
Katrina. Transport Group artists will collect and transport new toys
to Lizana, Mississippi (a small town outside of Gulfport). "Lizana,
Mississippi is a very small town that has been sorely neglected by
FEMA, the Red Cross and United Way. Most of the families have lost
everything and are STILL LIVING IN TENTS...this Holiday Party, for many
of the kids, will be the will be the only toys they get for Christmas."
We aspire to distribute over 3,000 toys to 1,000 children in this
campaign.
