DoneEx XCell Compiler is the unique compiler for MS Excel XLS files which allows you to turn XLS workbook logic into portable EXE application (which require MS Excel to run) with hidden formulas and attach XLA Add-Ins to EXE. It also allows you to promote your company name and/or trade mark by attaching your own image as splash screen in final EXE package.
In addition to the points raised in Reviews by others, I have to express concern over:
1. Who are DoneEx? I would appreciate an "About Us" giving details of the software authors and company. Is there a secret?
2. I had difficulty understanding set up instructions.
3. I am not confident that the compiled formulae are really secure. OK those that have tried have not yet found how to read the compiled formulae. That is not to say that the compiled formulae cannot be un-compiled by the software authors themselves. I would be reassured by an independent audit of this feature by a reputable US or international organisation.
I have worked with this product for a few months and I am very satisfied.
Better yet,when I personally requested to implement a feature i really needed, they did not refuse.
They have implemented my feature within half a week.
I am really impressed with the individual attention they have given me.

The product is extremely simple to use, contains numerous features, even more features than I need. Very fast and efficient support.
Take your money, buy a VB programming book and do it the correct way. This short-cut program will cause you more trouble than what it's worth.
The lack of a useful user/how-to documentation is a clear example of that this tool is not ready for prime time. If you expect your feedback to be welcomed by the email phantoms of sup...@doneex.com, think again.
