I'm developer from India. We have build site and which is not compatible on Opera Mini and working fine in Opera. I have found few sites which are working fine in mini same as web (infact both are same.) For eg: , etc... keyup event also working which is not available in Mini. Please help me to load site same as opera without disabling Data savings mode
At the moment Opera Mini in Extreme mode does not support new HTML5 input types, they fall back to standard text input. It works for you on freecharge.in, because it is silently loaded in High mode, which under the hood uses internal Android's WebView.
I recommend you spend few minutes to understand how Opera Mini works. In short: all pages are rendered on our servers and then it is transformed to very simplified format and sent to Opera Mini client. Keyup events and similar are not supported, as that would require connecting to Opera Mini servers on each key stroke. Just imagine how much time and data would it take!
I have owned an 860 for nearly 15 years. It has been a true trouble free stalwart in my home office. I recently purchased an Apple Mac Mini and I find that my 860 cannot connect wirelessly with the Mini. The Mini sees the 860 in its printer queue and the wifi network in my home is working but all print jobs stall due to "printer filter failure". Any ideas what could be the problem here or, God forbid, perhaps my trusty 860 can no longer accommodate the new computer?
At the time your printer was new, Apple's operating system was still allowing for 32-bit software (including drivers to run). Since that time, Macs have gone through numerous transitions: 32-bit to 64-bit and now all new Macs running with Apple Silicon chips vs Intel. There could thus be a number of reasons where compatibility is no longer possible.
Just go to openphdguiding.org and you should be able to find links to download either the macOS version, or the Windows version of PHD2. I haven't used it in a while, and don't know if it runs native code on an Apple Silicon machine -- however, Rosetta 2 has been working very well with other applications that use USB, so I am guessing that it should work too with PHD2.
On an Apple Silicon computer, Rosetta 2 kicks in whenever you run a macOS application that was built for the Intel architecure. Automatic with Apple Sliicon computers. If you do a Get Info (Command-I) on the PHD2 application icon, you should be able to see if it is built for the Intel architecture, or built as a Universal application (both Intel and Apple Silicon).
w7ay Thankyou for the info, so the 120mm mini being usb 2.0 should work fine on a mac ? Can I just ask as to my original question do you know why ZWO says to use a usb 3.0 camera/guider and not the 120mm/mc ?
ZWO no longer supports the older USB 2 cameras with the USB 2.0 Type B connectors. They are not really that old, but ZWO has abandoned support for it (probably too many problems). If it does not work, you are on your own (i.e., throw it in the trash).
Also supported are the "mini" cameras that have a USB Type C connector supporting USB 2 protocol. Note that it does not support USB Type C connectors with Thunderbolt protocol; so you cannot connect the USB C from the camera directly to the USB C Thunderbolt connector on a modern Mac computer -- you need to go through a USB C hub.
(USB C is simply a connector standard -- USB C can support USB 2, USB 3, DisplayPort, Thunderbolt, and USB PowerDelivery protocols. If one end only supports USB 2 and the other end only supports Thunderbolt, you will need something like a USB Hub in between that can convert USB 2 to a USB 3.)
The difference between USB 2 and USB 3 is that a USB 3 connector has 5 extra pins (you can see it deep inside a blue connector). One pair of pins is for receive data, the second pair for transmit data (so fully duplex), and one pin for the shield drain. USB 3 depends on the Power and Ground pins of the original USB 2 pins. USB 2 has 4 pins, the aforementioned power and ground, and a pair of wires for half duplex data (which contributes to why it is so slow).

The Nest Mini should be compatible, the only incompatibility is between Nest Pro and previous version of Nest Wi-Fi and mesh Wi-Fi but nothing regarding Mini > WiFi Pro.

I have had a monitor plugged into the laptop via hdmi for a while. I've bought a second monitor to go dual screen. When I plug in a monitor into the mini DP, ubuntu enters low graphics mode and I cannot use the UI.
I hope someone can help me out. My Supermicro board running Intel Atom processor C2758 just failed completely and it would not post at all. I had to swap mobo for older Atom version, but it is so slow and occasionally entire system freezes that I decided to upgrade my system to something more powerful and more reliable. I do not want to replace chassis and power supply, therefore I need mini-itx motherboard. I was able to find this Supermicro motherboard:
I don't have experience with that board, but I don't think it's safe to assume a Xeon would work. More to the point, why bother? The 1230 doesn't have onboard graphics, and if you aren't using ECC then there's really no point in an E3 Xeon. I'd put a Core i7 on that one. Or get something like this and put a Xeon E3-12x5 (where the last digit of 5 or 6 means onboard graphics).
I purchased C2758 almost exactly 3 years ago in December. However, I do not know if I violated warranty in some way. Due to overheating I had to install Supermicro cpu fan that was similar to the one I had + fan on the top. I believe I still have the old one too
I'm hoping that this build will last more than 4 years. CPU has Passmark score of little over 10,000. I was looking for some way to cut corners, but at the end I decided that 16GB of RAM memory should be sufficient for 15TB array. I'm running 10+ dockers and I'm hoping that system will be good enough to record TV using Plex or HDHomerun docker. I wanted to have stable and reliable system, that's why I went with Intel Xeon and ECC RAM. I was also considering i3 CPU with 35W TDP. I have similar chip in my HTPC and I was not impressed with WTV streaming (browser). HTPC was pretty much choking when I was watching TV and doing streaming at the same time. Suprosingly, there were really good transcoding speeds when system was doing one job only .
I have a new server running right now, but unfortunately I was not able to install the memory I bought. Every time I put the either 8GB module in memory bank I was getting error message "Memory not installed PEI-Intel Reference Code Execution ...55" . I was not even able to get to BIOS. Motherboard was not responsive. I took out 4GB non-ECC memory from HTPC and put it into server and bingo everything works. I checked in BIOS and motherboard should recognize ECC automatically. So disappointed. I had to return it to Newegg. I'm not sure what to do. ASRock has a short list of compatible RAM, but on the other hand I'm worried it may not work just like the one I ordered. Plus DDR4 memory is so expensive right now, that you have to think twice before you purchase anything.

I also ordered memory that should be compatible with Intel Xeon CPU. It's pretty hard to find and based on other people reviews and experiences there should be no hiccups this time. I purchased the memory directly from Kingston. You have other resellers on Newegg and Amazon, but beware that most likely all of them buy these modules directly from Kingston and than they will mail it to you.
I received ECC memory from Kingston (2x16GB) and I have to say installation was not that straight forward as I thought it would be. At some point I thought I have a defective RAM module or something is wrong with motherboard. I put first module (bank 1) and there were no issues with booting. Memory was recognized. Now I put the second one (bank 2) and to my surprise I got the error message that memory is not installed. This is exactly the same message that I saw with registered memory I had before.
I swapped the memory modules (bank 1) and still error. I removed the memory that I know is working and left the other one. Again error. I made couple attempts removing and putting it back and finally it booted up. Now I know that both RAM modules are working correctly. I put second module (bank 2) too and again I get error message. Just like previously I had to remove and put it back couple times. Finally both modules were recognized.
32BG of RAM is maybe overkill, but I'm planning to run WIn10 VM with allocated 8GB + bunch of dockers including Plex server. 16GB is way to little for this setup. I've been running unRaid on 4GB memory and that is just not enough. It does affect responsiveness and Plex transcoding as well.
Final thoughts: I'm glad I decided to go with this Intel Xeon. This is perfect CPU for the average user. It has enough horse power to do 3-4 (maybe more) simultaneous Plex stream. Previously when I was streaming something at my workplace performance was choppy and sometimes I was not being able to do that at all. I thought it was due to bad cell phone connection coverage. The reason for this was that my older server was not able to keep up with transcoding video.
