Hey all,
Congratulations again, and see below - we got official word from Lindsday that the bottom lines on the competency cards do not need to be signed.
Have a nice weekend and see you Monday,

Subject: RE: clarification of competency card signatures for PISCES
It is appropriate for the students to turn the cards in without the feedback line signature. Tracey, can you please let the students know that these lines on the competency cards need not be signed?
Thanks
Lindsay

Subject: clarification of competency card signatures for PISCES
Hello --
Can you please clarify the signatures required on competency cards for
PISCES students? Since PISCES students don't have contact with site
directors, but with their preceptors, my understanding from Iris is
that many of them only have initials from preceptors on the card, but
no signature on the "feedback" line on the card, since the line was
labeled for use by site director/chief resident and this was
confusing. Since the students have been receiving feedback all along
through RIME, etc., the line also seems unneeded. Can the cards be
turned in as is, without the feedback signature? If not, who should
sign for the student at this late date? Please advise the students
and the card collectors.
Thanks --
Heidi
