Just a quick reminder that we are hosting two events during Innovative Learning Week:
"Understanding the Research Process" - 4rth Year Dissertations
Wednesday, 20th of February, 10 am, Seminar Rooms 1 and 2, CMB
Two 4th year Undergraduate students will be offering insights into different methods, approaches and challenges of research in PIR. The two research topics are:
1) "What Future for Development? Re-Interpreting Compromise in the WTO" (presented by Andrew Dougall)
2) "Is Hayek's theory of spontaneous order opposed to Rawls' theory of justice?" (presented by James Frederickson)
Godfrey Bloom - "The need for libertarianism to return to the Anglosphere"
Thursday, 21st of February, 5pm, Lecture Theatre 175, Old College
Godfrey Bloom is Member of the European Parliament for Yorkshire and the Humber of the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP). His talk will be focusing on Britain's relationship with the EU and the UK's future in-/outside the Union.
