Always an impossible task Jules :o( No one is ever sure what they
want.....unless its free money or sumfink :o)

Ive heard nothing bad about these cards.....gorra be a good point :o)

Hmmm....so you wanna real beat then :o) Especially for the games!
They love a good graphics card so they do.......

Why not go for both ? Go for a good 2D card *AND* a 12MB Voodo2 3DFX
card ?

If you wanna good budget 2D card then Id HIGHLY recommend the ATI
EXPERT 98 AGP card......that what I have in my system atm and it is a
REALLY good card!

I am gonna cople this with a 12Mb Voodo 2 with me next pay packet
(25th Nov) :o)

Has to be a Voodo 2 3DFX then Jules :o)

Well the standard for 3D seems to be 3DFX's Voodo 2 Chipset......

They sure will! May need to get patches for them off the web (dont
worry there perfectly legal......) to use the game to its full extent
with 3DFX capabilities....

The Matrox G200 has had great reviews but I dont think you can beat a
descent 2D *AND* a dedicated 3D card.......G200 has a bit of both.....

>Does 3D mean 3DFX ?

Normally.......it could be Direct 3D though which most modern 2D cards
can handle....

>TIA Jules

Hope this helped :o)
