Anyone else noticed that UUdial's newsgroup's updating and retrieval
has sucked BIG time over the last few months?

this is Now starting to MAKE me consider using another ISP

You don't need another ISP, just another newsserver. I thoroughly
recommend the Berlin one; I only use Pipex for this group as it's a closed
one.

Hm. Not sure what you mean there, but it's early for me! . You have to
register at the site, and then they send you the settings. They run their
own newsserver, which carries more groups than uudial/Pipex, and is a LOT
faster and more reliable.
