Subject: Siemens Scholarship Program for engineering students: All India Launch
Dear Colleagues,
Last year, twenty meritorious first-year engineering students from the underprivileged section of society and their families embarked on a unique journey initiated by Siemens India: The Siemens Scholarship Program!
Encouraged by the overwhelming success witnessed in the first year, the Corporate Citizenship team is taking a step toward touching more deserving students. We are now rolling out the Scholarship program to first-year engineering students in over 100 Government Engineering Colleges across India.
Under this initiative, Siemens will provide financial support to deserving students who lack the economic means - tuition fees, allowances for books, stationery and related expenses. Additionally, we support the students with a holistic development plan. As a responsible Corporate Citizen, Siemens India endeavors to support and promote technical education through this program.
The eligibility criteria for Siemens Scholarship:
· First year students of Government Engineering colleges from the following streams: - Mechanical - Electrical - Electronics / Instrumentation - Electronics & Telecommunication - Information Technology / Computer Science · Age: Up to 20 years · Annual family Income: Not more than Rs. 2 lakhs · SSC: Minimum 60% aggregate · HSC or equivalent result: Minimum 50% aggregate and minimum 60% PCM aggregate · JEE Main / State CET: Minimum 45%
If you are aware of deserving candidates who meet the above criteria, please do refer the Siemens Scholarship Program to them. Details are available at: www.siemens.co.in/scholarship
Warm regards, Corporate Citizenship team
