This coming weekend is a big one for family music in the Valley.

We're pleased to be presenting Princess Katie & Racer Steve (http://
www.princessracer.com) on Saturday, March 8, at 1:30 pm (1:00 doors)
at Lyman Hall at First Churches (enter on Center Street, across from
the Iron Horse). PK&RS are supporting their second CD, "Fast and
Feisty," and put on an energetic and hilarious show. This is also a
costume party (costumes are, though, optional). Thanks also to
Hilltown Families (http://www.hilltownfamilies.org) for co-presenting
it. It's just $5, free for infants.

Other stuff for you to do on Saturday:

7-9 on 93.9 The River and 8-10 on 103.3 Valley Free Radio is, of
course, our little radio show. http://sparetherock.com

Then at 10:30 at Cup & Top Cafe in the center of Florence, John Powers
of The Pop Stars is performing a free set. He'll be on the radio show
that morning so you can get a sense of what you'll hear -- funny and
melodic music exploring the world of parenthood. http://www.cupandtop.com

Also at 10:30 at the Jones Library in Amherst, the Nields will be
doing a family show. They'll be working on new kids' music sometime
this year -- maybe you'll hear some new songs there!
