Hi everyone!
Hope you're having a great summer!
This Sunday (July 26), we're starting a pretty amazing monthly series
of shows at the Iron Horse Music Hall. We're calling it the No Nap
Happy Hour, and kicking it off will be the terrific Lunch Money,
hailing from South Carolina. Visit them online at
http://lunchmoneymusic.com
and check out what's in store for you.
If you're going to be out and about on Sunday around lunchtime, stop
by the Northampton Box Office on Main Street; Lunch Money will
probably be doing a few songs out on the sidewalk at about noon. Plus,
on Saturday, Lunch Money will guest DJ on Spare the Rock, Spoil the
Child (8-10 on 93.9 The River [stream it live at
http://wrsi.com] and
7-9 on 103.3 Valley Free Radio).
The show is at 2:00, with doors opening at 1:30. You can buy tickets
at
http://iheg.com or at the door. (They're $10 in advance, $13 at
the door.)
Upcoming shows in the series:
8/23 Justin Roberts & the Not Ready for Naptime Trio
9/20 Deedle Deedle Dees
10/18 Uncle Rock & the Playthings
11/8 Brady Rymer & the Little Band That Could
12/6 Bill Harley
In other kids' music news, on August 1, Jay Mankita will be playing a
show at the Eric Carle Museum in Amherst as a CD release show for the
new Putumayo CD, Picnic Playground. (He'll be on our show that
morning, too!)
Look forward to seeing lots of folks out at the Iron Horse! Even if
you don't know Lunch Money, I promise you'll have a great time.
Rock,
Bill & Ella & sometimes Liam
