Hi everyone!
Two things:
First, a reminder that this Sunday, we've got the Deedle Deedle Dees
in the No Nap Happy Hour at the Iron Horse.
The Deedle Deedle Dees headlined the River's Meltdown in the spring
with a raucous and wildly entertaining set. Now they're returning to
play the Iron Horse in the No Nap Happy Hour, with a bucketload of new
songs and old favorites. Rumor has it that the set list may well
include their song about me wearing a dress to school, dressed as
Susan B. Anthony. History + Rock 'n' Roll = the Deedle Deedle Dees.
The show will be a family music party in tribute to the memory of
David Banigan-White, our friend and a long-time supporter of family
music and arts in the Valley, who died suddenly in August. The band,
who knew and loved David well through his work with me at Flywheel,
will be donating all of their proceeds from this show to arts and
music in the Valley. Additionally, my wife Dena and I will be donating
an additional $2 for each ticket sold.
Tickets are available now at the Iron Horse Entertainment Group's
website,
http://iheg.com. They have a special family four-pack of
tickets available for just $30; individual tickets are $10 each in
advance and $13 at the door, so that's a great deal.
Second, tomorrow is Talk Like a Pirate Day. I hope you all celebrate
appropriately, and we'll have a special show in honor of it.
Rock on completely,
Bill & Ella & sometimes Liam
