It's going to be another great year for family music in the Pioneer
Valley. Below, some upcoming highlights:
- Tomorrow (Tuesday), Mariana Iranzi brings her bilingual fun to Cup &
Top Cafe with a free after-school show at 4:00. http://www.marianairanzi.com/
- Saturday, February 6, at 1:00, Elizabeth Mitchell & Family returns
to the Valley with a show at the Eric Carle Museum in Amherst. The
show is just $6 and benefits the scholarship fund at the Northampton
Community Music Center. Doors are at 1:00. http://youaremyflower.org
- Next Wednesday, February 10, the Deedle Deedle Dees will do two free
shows: one at Forbes Library at 11 am, and one at the Toy Box in

- Monday, February 15, Seattle's Board of Education will play a free
acoustic after-school show at Cup & Top Cafe, 4:00. http://www.myspace.com/cskids
- Sunday, February 21, the No Nap Happy Hour kicks off the new year
with AudraRox. You've seen Audra on Sesame Street, Noggin, and
elsewhere, and now she's bringing her full band high-energy show to

Note that there are specially-priced family four packs for just $30,
but those are advance only. So buy now. It'll run you $13 per ticket

- Sunday, March 14, another No Nap Happy Hour show with Gustafer

- Saturday, March 20, Debbie and Friends will play at the Eric Carle
Museum in another NCMC benefit, supporting a new record ("More Story

- Saturday, March 27, the return of the River's Family Music Meltdown
& Book Bash, 10-4, JFK Middle School, free. This is one of the finest
family music lineups you'll see: Elizabeth Mitchell, Rani Arbo & daisy
mayhem, Deedle Deedle Dees, Uncle Rock, Dog on Fleas, Ratboy Jr.,
Flannery Brothers, Aaron Nigel Smith, Aric Bieganek & ROCK, Mister
G...and that's not even half of the full lineup (on three stages!).
Plus Mo Willems and several other amazing authors. And activities,
