Welcome everyone, to this week’s snowshoe racing updates. I apologize for being late—long day at work. RD’s please update me about your race plans, etc. at this email address before my weekly Thursday email blast.
Tomorrow, 2/24 at 10 a.m. we have the Stone Bridge Caveman 6K in
Pottersville, NY RD Greg emailed to say : “I just finished the final marking of the race trail this morning before it got too warm. We got an inch of snow overnight. 90% is still in good shape. There are a few bare spots on the southern facing trails. It will be cold one and therefore hard. Just need to make it through the next 11 h without loosing too much before it drops below freezing.”

The Winona Forest Snowshoe Series in Lacona, NY. Lccated in the famously snowy (something we ALL like to hear) Tug Hill Plateau, featuring 4 courses that are marked all winter long.
