I'm trying to use the program but always an error message appears.

One about server no being responding...

And "The HTTP connection has been lost, however if your file has been succefully loaded the proccess will keep runnin, check the progress bar above."

Is the platform really working?

I just did a quick test and it seems to be working. What is the name of the dataset that you are uploading? It might be that is now in the list in: http://biosual.cbio.uct.ac.za/pinv.html

Sometimes it takes a while to appear there, if not let me know when do you tried to upload the data, and the name given so I can investigate further,
