Pinta 1.7 Released!

At long last, Pinta 1.7 has been released! You can grab a copy of it at https://www.pinta-project.com/releases/

Could not `apt install` on Debian 10 (buster). ("The repository 'http://ppa.launchpad.net/pinta-maintainers/pinta-stable/ubuntu groovy Release' does not have a Release file.")

Furthermore, Flatpak appears to be Pinta 1.6 and compilation from the tarball had issues. (Never worth resolving compilation problems of foreign software unless I truly need it.)

Please advise.

Wait, scratch that, snap installation worked. Always avoided it cause it spams mountpoints but I guess I'm giving it a go now! Consider the above an informal bug report.

Glad to hear the new snap package worked out!

For the PPA issue, I had only uploaded builds for bionic and focal (Ubuntu 18.04 / 20.04). I've just pushed a build for groovy so that should be available shortly!

The flatpak update to 1.7 is in-progress at https://github.com/flathub/com.github.PintaProject.Pinta/pull/13 but should hopefully be updated soon
