Where to watch NFL games here in Manila / Makati?

Hello all! Newbie here. I just moved to Makati and am DESPERATE to
watch football games. I have the DirecTV online service, which is OK,
but is limited. I can't watch Sunday Night / Monday night games, and
some of the games I want to watch might be blacked out. Is there a
bar / place where people get together to watch NFL games live?? Even
though I work a regular schedule I don't mind being tired on
Mondays :) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can always try at National Sports Grill in Greenbelt 1 in Makati's
Central Business District.

They used to have Superbowl parties there so I'm assuming you can
request for the NFL games on their TV. I'm not sure though.

Thanks. I tried going there but it was closed - I guess Monday at 1am
isn't a big-business time for them to be open! My quest continues...

sir EA may alam ka bang channel dito sa pinas kung san ka makapanood
ng nfl 09 season? may cable kami dito sa bahay pero sa balls channel
wala na, anung month po ba magsisimula yun season? noong 08 kasi sa
balls channel ko napanood yung 08 season.

Bad news: So far there is no NFL.

The good news is there are quality NCAA BCS caliber football games on ESPN. I will answer any questions you have on college ball.

try mo nalang visit sa NFL website ang problema d mo mapapanood ung mismong game.. but updated ka qng cnu nananalo.. and scores

Unfortunately solar sports opted not to show NFL games either. Di ko
rin alam kung bakit. Maybe they are making more money off of
infomercials than with the games.

I already emailed solar on this. Their move not to show the NFL has,
in a way, dampened efforts to spread the sport in the country. Ewan ko
lang kung magre-reply sila.

Ed Lopez is right, there are some pretty exciting college football on
ESPN. They usually air late morning or evenings. Wednesdays and
Fridays I think. Just check the ESPN site for schedules.

Also Yule's advise on NFL.com should help you get by. Their Game
Center gives "live" play-by-play account with drive graphics and video
highlights. Just go to NFL.com and click on a game box (near the top)
to see the latest on an ongoing game.
