Hi there

I am thinking of buying an Hase Pino (electric), but the front rider would be the larger of thw two.

front: 150 lb and 5'7"
rear: 130lb and 5'5"

So not a huge difference. Can anyone comment on the handling / balance with this configuration?

The rear rider is experienced with handling cargo bikes.

Thanks for the help!

Best

We have 93 kg rear and 100 kg front plus some luggage - no problems.
Good rides!

We have no experience with electric assist on our Pinos but I suspect it will be very helpful at lower speeds. With electric assist,  I doubt that the weight difference will be meaningful.  The weight difference between my regular riding partner and me is approximately 50 lbs.  175 captain (rear) / 125  stoker (front).  My experience as a captain with heavier riders up front is that it requires extra attention and application of upper body strength, particularly while maneuvering at slower speeds.

Good riding to you!
