Hi. I have a 2011 pino with the front kickstand without lowrider extensions at the front. I have just bouht the lowrider rack for a family tour in France but was hoping to fit 2 pairs of front bags under the stoker. Does anyone have any suggestions or pics of solutions for this. I am fairly mechanically sdept but cannot weld.

Thanks........Tim

Do you have an aluminium pino or a (indivisible) steel pino?

We have our freshly painted Pino frame and baskets of parts but no one and no time to gather and assemble it all.
We have a Bilenky viewpoint with independent gearing and folding boom upgrade and coupled frame.
We have a Titanium
Pino with one piece frame,  custom  short boom, that la is very compactly
On the workingman level, a Circe Morpheus DIY fuselage with disc- ready wheel kit and Terratrike mech back seat is $1675.
Hope this helps

It's a splitable aluminium one.

Does this make a difference?

We used a pair of Ortlieb panniers on our front rack but changed to Arkel RT-40 bags as they were easier to access without removing them from the bike. If you use double bags with small and large put the small ones behind so you can use the front stand. I've attached a photo of our front bags including the side pods on the chair seat. There are several websites/blogs showing double bags and the Arkels, a couple of them are here:

Thanks Terry. That is interesting. I can't quite see the front lowrider modifications on any of the pictures, but it gives me lots to aim at!

Time has marched on with this post, but I'll add my two penneth. We have a 2011 Pino with Hase stand and low-rider. Until recently I didn't fit the extension bars to the low-rider and just hung our Ankle 40ltr bags directly off the stand/low-rider frame. In June we did a short tour and wanted to add a tent and bed rolls etc. I added the extension bars and hung the Arkles on them, then placed bed rolls on top of the bags, which being a few cms more outboard provided a little more space.

However, on riding the fully loaded bike, there was a low-speed wobble that felt like it was originating at the low-rider. Removing the bar extensions and reverting to hanging the Arkles directly on the stand/low-rider frame then placing the additional luggage on the rear carrier stabilised the bike.
