What's the flexibility of ad-hoc querying in Pinot?

Pinot supports aggregation, filter and group by. Joins are not supported. Are you looking for anything specific?

I have 2 more questions.

1. Will Pinot support for various reporting frameworks? If so, can you mention any?

2. What's the throughput?

By reporting framework you mean visualization tool like Grafana superset etc?

Throughput can be anywhere from single digit qps to thousand's of qps. It really depends on the query pattern. There are various types of indexes such as sorted, inverted, star- tree that can used and configured according to the use case to achieve the desired throughput/latency.

Yes, you are right tools like Grafana.

1. How easy will Pinot be to use when it comes to Production?

2. As mentioned it won't support JOINS, is there any alternative for this or how can we solve this one?
