Hi Listers,

I have a question for all you folks with the Smart Enterprise system. Can you display the same desktop session on two of the thin clients at the same time? I ask because we are going to get the SE system for one of our satellite clinics, and being able to display a Pinnacle plan simultaneously on a screen at the satellite and another screen at the main campus would greatly facilitate teleconferencing chart rounds.

Thanks,
Chris

Chris,

I think what you are asking is essentially opening two separate sessions
for the same patient, which is not possible. Off the top of my head, one
(admittedly not very elegant)solution would be to open the plan on a
p3pc connected desktop and then do a remote desktop to that one...

To my knowledge no. We use SE on campus and at a satellite as well.

Maybe aim a webcam at the screen and send the other facility that video
feed?

Today, while talking with our PACS administrator, I found out our hospital has the SMART ENTERPRISE system. Pardon my ignorance, but how can we use it with our Pinnacle system? Back-up? Image storage? We still use tape back-up.

thanks
