Pinnacle sessions auto-logout

Hello,
do you know a method to have an auto-logout for Pinnacle sessions idle since a specific amount of time?

We use Solaris 11 with Pinnace Professional.

Using a Sun Oracle Keyboard, press STOP and M at the same time. This will give you the Thin Client main menu. Option 12 is Advanced. Choose Advanced then on the next page Advanced Menu choose option 10 Power Off Timer, then type in the power off timer in minutes. Hope this helps.

Hi Neil,

do you mean using SunRay thin clients? We don’t use them, while we use pcs with Oracle Virtual Desktop Client.

Have you tested with those too?

So Pinnacle told me that the only way to access time outs were with the Oracle keyboard. I’m curious if it would work the same way with that keyboard and a Virtual Desktop Client.

No, Pinnacle does not have an auto-logout feature and it's too bad.  The Thin Client stuff that is talked about only shuts off the physical thin client, it does nothing about closing your Pinnacle session.
