EMR link

We are (or were) using EMR link to send pdfs of our Pinnacle plans and
isodoses/DVHs to Mosaiq, but this product is past end-of-life and the
computer it was installed on is having problems and the program isn't
working anymore. Yes, I know we should have had backups of this
computer. Anyway, we are now using Pinnacle's P3PDF. Is this what
everyone else is doing? are there any other commercial products that
help automate the process of printing to pdf? I know lots of people
have their in house scripts they've made, but we don't really have the
physics resources right now to build and support this ourselves and a
commercial option would be preferable.

Hi Justin,

we've just recently set up P3PDF and abandoned EMRLink. Much, much better from a sys admin's point of view, as we had ongoing stability issues with EMRLink. Also P3PDF doesn't do those annoying beeps as it transfers files. :-)

We export an NFS share from our Windows file server, and have P3PDF files going directly to it. Mosaiq's scanstage is set to that location so we can import treatment plans direct to Mosaiq. It took a bit of work, but it's been worthwhile, the process is working well.
