Pdf backup report

Hello to all,
we have the need to print in pdf format our periodic backup report: as by default Pinnacle proposes the configured printers for such task without a pdf printing option, we were wondering if someone of you could have a hint.

Hello Martjin,

You can use PS2PDF to generate a PDF from Pinnacle.

Put the skript into /home/p3rtp/bin
Add a Printer in Pinnacle
Typ Postscript
PrintCommand /home/p3rtp/bin/PDF_Printer

Hello,

we have a question for a similar issue.

For normal plan reports PDF printing we use the PHILIPS p3pdf script: when displaying the pdf, our printer is not set as the default one.Have you any suggestion about how to set it as the default one for pdf printing? The strange fact is that the printer is the default system printer.

Hi,

I have been trying to make this work, but it doesn't appear to generated any files. I have created the printer in Pinnacle and placed the script in /home/p3rtp/bin. I have made one adjustment to the script, which is to change the directory that the filename writes to. I have pasted the code below.

Hello Aled,

It seems korrekt.

Have you try it in a Terminal?

First generate a postcriptfile. Print into file.
When run the script with the postscript file as an argument. "ScriptName file.ps"

What is the output?
