Hi,

We are running 16.2 using single user login p3rtp.  Currently a plan is locked by another user.  I killed the PID associated with that session but the plan is still "in use by another user".   What can I try next?

Thanks

Hi Alex,

Have you checked whether the process was indeed killed? You can e.g. use the command top in bash to check whether the mentioned PID is still active after killing. In my experience, whenever I killed a process and the plan was still "in use", it turned out that the process was not properly killed.

Cheers,

Hi Luke,

Thnx for the suggestion.   Turns out the pid was in fact killed and I did not see the effect until I quit and relaunch the launchpad.
After I quit and logged back in, the plan wasn't locked anymore.

Cheers,
Alex
