Dear List,

With regard to IMRT QA, I wonder if anyone is currently conducting 3D analysis on 2D detector (matrix) information?

Does anyone know if it is possible to import measured 2D fluence maps back into Pinnacle which in turn may be used to re-compute DVH info?

Any suggestions/ replies on or off the list would be most welcome.

Best regards

Sean

Sean,

I use DosimetryCheck and gather 2D information from the PV imager to back project through the patient's CT data set for comparison to the Pinnacle plan. I also use the Matrixx. I believe the Matrixx is too course of a measurement to be used in this regard (at least my Matrixx has ion chambers on 7.5 mm centers), so if this were possible, it seems the PV would be better to determine the machine ODM. This seems a logical progressive direction for Pinnacle to go, but I have doubts that Pinnacle could pull it off as they do not seem to be attuned to possible future technical advances.
