Dhaka: A 25-year-old Bangladeshi man has been sentenced to seven years in jail for composing a song mocking Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her father Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and spreading it via mobile phones.

Tonmoy and Islam were arrested on October 26, 2013. A case under the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Act was filed against him. The Tribunal was constituted last year under the ICT Act and this was the fourth verdict since its inception, officials said.

Kolkata: Bangladeshi MP Momtaz Begum on Thursday sang a song in praise of the Prime Minister of the South Asian nation, Sheikh Hasina, in the country's Parliament. Literally. "I sing Bengali songs in whichever country I travel to. My leader is Sheikh Hasina, who is beyond comparison," Begum was seen happily letting her voice flow after the Prime Minister was heard in the background, urging her in Bengali to sing a song.

The first song of Kiara Advani and Aditya Seal-starrer Indoo Ki Jawani is out. Titled Hasina Pagal Deewani, the song is a reboot of Mika Singh's 1998 classic number, Saawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag. The song begins with the words 'The Stage Is Set' displaying on the screen followed by a few slow-mo shots of Kiara.

Coming back to Hasina Pagal Deewani, Kiara had shared a motion poster announcing the release of the song on Tuesday. She wrote, "Kal toh by God mazaa hi aa jaayenga! You know what it is, right? Agar nahi pata toh wait karo!! Bas ye samajh lo ki ek #HasinaPagalDeewani hone waali hai (sic)."

The song Hasina Pagal Deewani has left people divided. On one hand, people are liking Kiara Advani and she's looking great in the video, but on the other hand, everyone is simply done with remixes of old songs being used in movies now.
