DAVID GILMOUR's guitar work on PINK FLOYD's COMFORTABLY NUMB has topped a new poll of rock solos. The searing solo beat out Brian May rocking on Queen's Killer Queen, while Jimmy Page and Jimi Hendrix tie for third place with instrumental segments on classics Stairway To Heaven and Purple Haze respectively.
The 20 Greatest Guitar Solos has been compiled by the staff of Britain's Q magazine.

STARS VOTE LED ZEPPELIN HIT BEST GUITAR TRACK
LED ZEPPELIN's hit song BLACK DOG has been chosen by rock legends RONNIE WOOD and ANDY SUMMERS as the best guitar track in music history. The stars also handed the band's track Dazed and Confused second place in the Q Magazine list. Songs from the Beatles, Jimi Hendrix and The Skids also featured. The top ten is as follows: 1.
