While Jimmy Page's finger might be too injured to play guitar right
now, it isn't too hurt to grasp a trophy. The Led Zeppelin guitarist,
who recently had to push back the Ahmet Ertegun Tribute Concert
at which his band is reuniting, was honored with a Living Legend
Award at the Classic Rock Roll of Honor awards this week in London.

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler paid tribute to Page, as did Zep
singer Robert Plant and famed guitarist Les Paul. Other winners that
night included Meat Loaf, who took home the award for Classic Album
for Bat Out of Hell, though the singer's daughter had to accept on his
behalf since dad cancelled his appearance due to laryngitis. Heaven
and Hell took Comeback of the Year, while the trophy for Metal Guru
went to Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi.

Also during the ceremony, Storm Thorgerson, the graphic designer
behind the cover art to Dark Side of the Moon, was given the award
for Outstanding Contribution by Pink Floyd's Nick Mason. The winners
at the event were all voted on by readers of Classic Rock magazine
