Perhaps we should all get on the same page.  I suggest a round of introductions.

Hey all. My name is Bryan Bishop, I do development work on do-it-yourself biology and open source hardware. My primary background is in programming, molecular biology and transhumanism, and spend most of my time on do-it-yourself transhuman tech or human enhancement projects- like infrared vision, sensory augmentation, life extension / anti-aging, generally not dying, and a host of other topics in this area.

To be brief, I think I previously posted an intro to myself on the Pink Army mailing list:

.. which of course you are all welcome to join:

Anyway, to sum it up, I am not interested in succumbing to road blocks. I am glad to see that the PA website might be undergoing some revisions soon- I agree that there are perhaps too many avenues of "new things" that a user has to look at in order to get to the meat of the PA proposal.

I see my most valuable contribution to this cooperative is on the technical execution and development. I am happy to see that others are picking up the web design issues, which in many cases is more strongly coupled to PR, marketing and branding, so I hope that ends up being a very tightly focused package.

Also, here are some links of items of interest that I have been monitoring or otherwise involved in. Some of these trends are critically important to PA's success, others not so much but still interesting :-).
