Please help me

Hi I have a problem in windows 95.

I am trying to set up a machine at the moment, a 4x86 DX-2 66 with 32 Mg
RAM, a 1Gb HDD, and a 2Mb Matrox Mystique. After installing windows I am
getting the message
"While initialising device VGARTD"
"Windows protection error. You need to restart your computer."

This appears after the windows 95 logo screen, but before the launch of the
operating system, i.e. still in dos. I would really appreciate it if anyone
could advise me of what to do. I can boot in safe mode, but because I don't
know what's wrong, I can't fix it. I am running 95B.
