The jump in version numbers has less to do with new features, and more with jettisoning obsolete features that have outlived their usefulness.
Android 5 and 6 are no longer supported - it's time to move on! As a side effect, the storage permission is no longer needed - yay, fewer permissions :-)
Renamed IP Risk to Spam Check, because the service that gave it its original name is no longer available.
Removed NetSentry, which no longer works on recent Android versions. The app now only runs on Android versions that have Data Saver, making the feature less useful anyway.
Removed the somewhat obscure UDP Traceroute, which no longer works on recent Android versions.
In the DNS record type selection dialogs, it is now possible to select/deselect all record types.
Whois does a better job of looking up the proper Whois server, especially for generic TLDs and brand TLDs (like .accenture).
Fixed the custom text selection when long-clicking text in another app.
Fixed clicking a linked IP address or host name in order to copy it to the start page.
