This months S&P has new air units for the yankees to include the P-38!
Fear me Greg! In the battle report a King Tiger leads the attack
against the Brits. I'm going to read this today at work (not while I
am driving but I will admit I have tried!). Get this here:

The player's guide is what they are calling a FAQ/patch for WaW. There
are some holes in the game for sure, but all in all it's a good game.

P-38 was my favorite fighter of the war. The Germans called it the
"Forked Tongue Devil". It bugs me that I have to fight against it.
Maybe when I finish collecting and painting my Kraut army I'll build
an America force. Ahhhh, more for the workbench.

See you on Saturday!

I read the battle report featurng the British vs. the Germans in S&P
#58. I can't believe the German player was unbeaten before this
scenario. He waddled his KING TIGER out into the middle of the board,
where there was no cover, and let everybody and his mother take pot
shots at it. Granted, the King Tiger is heavily armored, but this
does not mean he's invulnerable. Very poor tactics on the German
players part while the British player capitalized on his mistakes.

We will probably need to incorprorate the air rules soon to try them out. Apparently they are going to be tweaked in the upcomming air expansion that MGP is currently working on. To be honest, I am not to keen on the current set however I still want to give them a try.

I am not sure I like the new cover rules either. I think I like the higher target bonuses than armor and kill bonuses but still, only have played a few games.

I am going to have to get with GDH and set up something for the guys over there. Of course I will need Greg and his krauts to do this!

See you Saturday!

Its fixed! LOL! If I remember correctly your Tiger 1 that was out in the open dispatched my 2 Shermans that were in medium cover with ease! LOL!

Mine, too!  I had a chance to visit the "Mighty 8th Air Force Museum" in Georgia this past weekend.  No P38s, but some interesting photos of factory workers driving trucks and towing behind them the fuselage of P38s through the streets of Savannah to load onto transports.
