Modern Combat has just been released from Mongoose Publishing. This is
the game I have been playtesting and doing reports for Mathew
Sprangue, the author of Modern Combat. Well, in those reports I listed
all the guys that helped me. Now those guys are famous! Greg Bierl,
Robert Bierl, Robert Gunn, and myself are listed in the credits in
print under playtesting in Modern Combat. To me this is one of the
coolest things ever, especially for some bus driver! This book is
published in England is circulated all over the world!

Congrats to my buddies!

Autograph sessions will commence soon! (Laughing)

Advance Tobruk System, tactical WWII warfare. I am also in the Wargamers Hall of Fame, but I forget what for, a guy I ran into at Recon/Hurricon told me he saw my name there.

That's awesome.  It's nice to see your name in print.  I used to do software testing for Interactive Magic -- they did flight sims, Harpoon and the "Great Battles of Alexander/Caesar" series of wargames in the 90s.  It was awesome to see my name listed.

Hope you got a free copy of the rulebook!

There's a Wargamers Hall of Fame?  Makes sense that Rob's in it, but where is it? :-)

I vaguely remember it's up in Michigan or Wisconsin, a cold state.
