This somehow got lost in my inbox!  Here is the whole story....

Backstory:
About a year after Roy and I met, Roy took me on a big boat.  Right at sunset, he told me he loved me for the first time.  

Engagement Story:
Roy wanted to recreate this memory by booking a cruise for us.  Just before sunset on the first night of the cruise, he rushed me to the back of the boat.  As the sun was setting, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.  The rest is history....:)

We haven't set a date yet because we want to have it in Texas, and we need to figure out what venues are available.  If you know anyone who has a big ranch in the San Antonio or Austin area, please let me know!!

I hope you all are enjoying some time off before we all start back into the real world.

We originally met at Team in Training, an organization that raises money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society by running marathon.  However, we didn't really become true friends (and start dating) until he came to the running club that I started (with a friend) in McAllen.
