Monday, July 14 glass off

Scott myself and Brett Gorbett had a delightful warm smooth and scenic glass off at Pine Mountain yesterday evening. The wind was a bit strong and slightly crossed at launch but in the air it was super smooth with 300 fpm thermals topping out somewhere around 7900 feet. Scott easily flew his new VQ race out to the far perimeters of Pine while I had to remember how to stop over controlling and oscillating too much with my funfex flexing wing. We landed at sunset, and after breaking down, we drove up to get Scott’s truck. There, we were struck by the beautiful star filled night sky!
