Now in its 7th year, the Muslim Hands Young Muslim Writers Awards Competition is back and it’s bigger than ever!
With three new categories and an exciting line-up of judges, now is the chance for children aged 5 to 16 to showcase their creative talents, pick up a new hobby and improve their communication skills.
Since 2008 we have been encouraging children to write creatively and improve their communications skills through our flagship UK youth development programme, the Young Muslim Writers Awards.
With our annual writing competition, we work towards raising the standards of child literacy and creative writing so we can empower young people to be confident communicators and help build a vibrant society.
Our annual competition is open for submissions and there are a number of ways you can get involved:
1. Submit your child’s entry online
2. Print and display the poster in your local library or community centre
3. Contact your child’s school to encourage participation
4. Register to volunteer at this year’s awards ceremony
5. Spread the word!
